Managing Director Sweden - Envanio
We are looking for an experienced leader from an international technical B2B environment who combines strong commercial judgement with the ability to lead and develop both people and business.
Are you an experienced leader with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to combine strategic direction with hands-on leadership? Envanio is looking for a Managing Director to lead and further develop its Swedish operations – an organization delivering advanced Air Pollution Control (APC) and environmental process solutions to industrial customers across the Nordic region and globally.
This is an opportunity to lead a business where advanced technology, international collaboration and environmental impact come together. You will have significant local ownership and the opportunity to shape the Swedish organization, strengthen its Nordic market position and contribute to ambitious growth and profitability targets.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Managing Director, you will have overall responsibility for Envanio Sweden and its approximately 40 employees. You will lead the Swedish management team and be responsible for the strategic and operational development of the business, with full P&L responsibility and a clear focus on profitable growth.
A central part of your mission will be to strengthen collaboration across the organization, empower people and build a culture based on trust and accountability. At the same time, you will drive commercial development and identify opportunities in new markets and industries.
The Swedish organization holds an important position as a Center of Competence within Envanio, supporting other markets and entities globally with technical expertise. As Managing Director, you will work closely with the European organization and HQ in Germany, translating strategic priorities into local plans and measurable results, with considerable freedom in how the Swedish business delivers on these objectives.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Lead the strategic and operational development of the Swedish business, with full P&L responsibility including budgeting, forecasting and financial follow-up.
Translate Group objectives into local priorities, KPIs and measurable results.
Drive commercial development, profitable growth and expansion into new markets and industries.
Support strategic sales, key accounts and complex customer negotiations together with the Sales Manager.
Lead, engage and develop the management team and organization, including talent and succession planning.
Foster a culture of trust, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Strengthen the Swedish organization’s role as a Center of Competence and collaboration across the global organization.
Build strong relationships with key customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
Ensure effective operations and project execution, with a focus on safety, quality, compliance and customer satisfaction.
The position involves regular travel, primarily within the Nordic region and to Envanio’s European entities and headquarters in Germany.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an experienced leader from an international technical B2B environment who combines strong commercial judgement with the ability to lead and develop both people and business. You are comfortable operating in a project-based industrial environment and understand the dynamics of complex customer relationships, long-term business development and international stakeholder management.
Previous experience as a Managing Director or full P&L responsibility is considered an advantage, but is not a requirement. You may, for example, come from a senior commercial, operational or business leadership position where you have led teams, influenced business performance and worked across functions.
We believe you have:
A university degree, preferably within business, engineering or another relevant field.
Solid leadership experience from an international technical B2B or industrial environment.
Experience from project-based business.
Strong commercial understanding and experience in sales and business development within a technical B2B environment.
Experience of leading, motivating and developing people and teams.
The ability to navigate an international organization and build strong relationships across different functions and organizational levels.
Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English. German is considered an advantage.
As a leader, you are clear-minded and comfortable making decisions in complex situations. You communicate with clarity, build trust and create alignment across the organization. You engage and motivate people and create the conditions for them to perform and develop.
You have strong business judgement and a clear commercial focus. You combine a strategic perspective with a hands-on and pragmatic approach and are comfortable moving between long-term direction and day-to-day execution.
