ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Technical Sales Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in transforming customer needs into innovative technical solutions. Partnering closely with our Senior Global Sales Manager, you’ll lead the development and coordination of tailored propulsion systems for cutting-edge global newbuilding projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and presenting customized technical concepts, solutions, and documentation.
- Acting as a project manager by orchestrating internal and external expertise during the dynamic sales process.
- Driving technical optimizations and identifying creative solutions to meet client needs.
This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced international environment, contributing directly to industry-defining projects and shaping the future of sustainable shipping.
ABOUT YOU
For this position we are looking for an experienced Naval Architect (or similar Degree/experience) with a passion for innovation and a strong ability to navigate complex, high-pressure situations. We would like to find a professional with:
- A vast experience in the maritime industry, with a focus on technical and commercial processes.
- Deep knowledge of vessel efficiency, ship systems, hydrodynamics, mechanics, and power electronics.
As a person you will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The Senior Technical Sales Engineer will need to be a skilled communicator who excels at building relationships across cultures and disciplines. Preferable you are also be:
- Agile and adaptable; able to adjust your approach based on customer input and stakeholder needs.
- A team player with strong project management capabilities and a drive to deliver results.
- A person with fantastic attention to detail skills and a commitment to accuracy.
